On Saturday 3rd July 2010 we opened the doors to the public at our
second charity shop. The shop is based on Market St Stourbridge and has already proved to be a great success and has gained
a lot of support for the rescue.
The doors were opened at 10am and the honors of cutting the ribbon went to Jess
Courtney from Stourbridge.

The shop was packed of supporters and bargain hunters
all through the day and the volunteers were run off their feet making sure the shelves were refilled for the next lot of customers.
By the end of the day we had rung up a whopping £383. But the opening weekend was not yet over as it was carnival
day the next day in Stourbridge and again we threw the doors open to a huge crowd in the street, we opened the shop for 3
hours and upped our takings by another £200 meaning that in just 9 hours over the weekend we had raised a staggering
£583 for the dogs.
Huge thanks goes to all the volunteers and supporters that worked so hard to get the shop
opened in just 2 weeks and to all that attended to help make our opening such a great success.

THE STAFFIES WANT THE SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK! Funds raised from the shop will go towards our future existence and we can only do this with your
help. We are urgently seeking donations of unwanted items. We have created a list below of items we will be selling. Imagine
the a difference it would make if just 10% of every home in Stourbridge were to check every room in the home and donate
just one carrier bag of items to us
