Broadwaters Fayre and we raised £165.70, then it was full steam ahead for Sunday with our team out fund raising
at the Bromsgrove Cricket Club Big Summer Fete where we raised £135.05, the RSPCA Dog Show in Stourport on Severn
where £181.78 was raised. That’s a whopping £482.53. Don't forget that 100% of all money raised
will support Happy Staffie Rescue, Thanks all
PACK FOR CASH
Our thanks goes out to all the customers that allowed our volunteers to pack their bags at the charity bag pack at
Franche Rd Co-op superstore on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2009. Even in the middle of a credit crunch public support
for us was huge as an amazing £387.82 was donated on Saturday and £383.60 on Sunday. Thats a staggering
£771.42 towards our future. 100% of all money raised at our bag pack and any other event goes directly
to building a happy future for Staffies in need in the Worcestershire area.
We would also like to thank the Midcounties Co-operative for supporting our much needed charity.

Supporters were out in force at the Wolverley Carnival on Saturday 4th July 2009 and the carnival was a great
success, out lucky balls tombola was a great hit with the public and a wonderful £282.41 was raised
by the end of the day. Our thanks goes out to our fantastic volunteers Donna and Darren that ran our stall, the supporters
that helped raise so much money and the organisers of the carnival for a great day.
Our fund raising team were out with their trusty tombola at the
Bromsgrove Carnival on Saturday 28th June
2009 and what a carnival it was,
apart from our trip to Cosford we had never seen so many people out enjoying themselves. At times during the day we had a queue of up to 7 people waiting
to try their luck on our Lucky Balls. We met some great people throughout
the day and would like to say thanks to everyone that supported us. A huge thanks goes out to carnival organiser Ian Perrygrove and his team for putting
on such a fantastic and well organised
day. The best news of all is that the money raised smashed all previous events with a staggering
£332.33 taken on the day

Our team of volunteers were out in force at the Kidderminster Carnival on Saturday 20th June 2009 on Brintons
Park. At peak time we had a queue 5 deep trying to get their hands on our Lucky Ball Tombola. Again we had supporter John
selling his own grown plants and these went very well. By the end of the day a staggering £303.42 had
been raised. We would like to say a huge thanks to all the supporters that stopped and help to make it such a huge success.

COSFORD AIR SHOW
Well a fantastic day was had by all at the Cosford Air Show on Sunday 14th June 2009. The weather was
on our side for this event and our volunteers had the chance to help raise vital funds as well as top up their tan. To make
this event possible we teamed up with other local dog rescue Birch Hill Dog Rescue and ran the event as a joint effort, we
would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Fred Morris who donated the funds to pay for our pitch, we would have never been
able to attend without his support. Our thanks also goes out to Happy Staffie volunteers Mark, John, Pauline and Alan plus
Wendy (for providing the biggest tombola anyone had ever seen), Terry and Fred of Birch Hill, these volunteers dedicated
their whole weekend to help and did not get back home till 9pm in the evening. We would also like to thank all the very kind
people that donated money, tried their luck on the tombola, purchased plants or dog toys and gave us very kind wishes with
the success of the charity. £455.70 was raised by the end of the day and this money will be shared
out between us and our friends at Birch Hill Dog Rescue.
