CAR BOOT (THE ROYAL OAK, ALVELEY)
Well what a turn out and our best car boot sale so far, over 20 boots turned out
for our car boot sale at The Royal Oak in Alveley and the weather stayed dry for the whole day. With a good number of buyers
added it was a good day for all, over £100 was raised for both us and our friends at Birch Hill Dog Rescue. Huge thanks
to all the sellers and buyers for making the day a big success.

will support Happy Staffie Rescue, Thanks all

PACK FOR CASH
Our thanks goes out to all the customers that allowed our volunteers to
pack their bags at the charity bag pack at Franche Rd Co-op superstore on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July. Even in the
middle of a credit crunch public support for us was huge as an amazing £387.82 was donated on Saturday and £383.60 on Sunday.
Thats a staggering £771.42 towards our future. 100% of all money raised at our bag pack and any other
event goes directly to building a happy future for Staffies in need in the Worcestershire area.

BROMSGROVE CARNIVAL
Our fund raising team were out with their trusty tombola at the
Bromsgrove Carnival on Saturday 28th June
2009 and what a carnival it was,
apart from our trip to Cosford we had never seen so many people out enjoying themselves. At times during the day we had a queue of up to 7 people waiting
to try their luck on our Lucky Balls. We met some great people throughout
the day and would like to say thanks to everyone that supported us. A huge thanks goes out to carnival organiser Ian Perrygrove and his team for putting
on such a fantastic and well organised
day. The best news of all is that the money raised smashed all previous events with a staggering
£332.33 taken on the day

COSFORD AIR SHOW
Well a fantastic day was had by all at the Cosford Air Show on Sunday 14th June. The weather
was on our side for this event and our volunteers had the chance to help raise vital funds as well as top up their tan. To
make this event possible we teamed up with other local dog rescue Birch Hill Dog Rescue and ran the event as a joint effort,
we would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Fred Morris who donated the funds to pay for our pitch, we would have never been
able to attend without his support. Our thanks also goes out to Happy Staffie volunteers Mark, John, Pauline and Alan plus
Wendy (for providing the biggest tombola anyone had ever seen), Terry and Fred of Birch Hill, these volunteers dedicated
their whole weekend to help and did not get back home till 9pm in the evening. We would also like to thank all the very kind
people that donated money, tried their luck on the tombola, purchased plants or dog toys and gave us very kind wishes with
the success of the charity. £455.70 was raised by the end of the day and this money will be shared out
between us and our friends at Birch Hill Dog Rescue.
