Welcome to GETTING WACKY FOR A STAFFIE Here is your chance to help us raise vital funds to keep our vital rescue service going. WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT? We want our supporters to think of a fund raising idea that they can carry out during March 2010 and we want them to make it as wacky as possible but it doesn’t matter if you want to make it simple. WHAT CAN I DO? Below are just a few events we have come up with to give you some ideas but you can do what ever you want (as long as it’s legal). WHEN CAN I DO IT? Getting Wacky for a Staffie will run from 1st March till 31st March 2010 and you can hold your event on any day in March just let us know when. HOW DO I REGISTER? To do something wacky for a staffie just simply complete the registration form below and click submit. We will then email you all the details you need to get started, these include a registration form, ideas list and sponsor form. WILL YOU SUPPORT ME? Happy Staffie Rescue will of course support you with you event as much as possible. Your event will be publicised on our website, Facebook and Twitter for the world to see and will be advertised in our charity shop window. I DON’T LIVE IN THE UK? This whole event has been set up so that no matter where you live in the world you can still get involved. All registration documents and certificates are issued to you be email and you can pay the money you have raised by card through our secure payment method or just post a cheque. WHAT DO I GET OUT OF IT? Well to start off you get to know that you have played a massive part in our fund raising for 2010. As the rescue survives solely on it’s fund raising, donations and money raised from our charity shop this means your support will directly go towards offering that vital life line to the Staffordshire bull terrier breed. Once your event is completed and the money you raised received by us we will issue you with a certificate so you can show your friends and family you played your part in our future. Also you may just become a GETTING WACKY FOR A STAFFIE supporter of the year. We will be awarding 2 supporters with the title, one for the most money raised and one for the most wacky event held. BABY SITTING The key to good fund raising is to let as many people know as possible about what you are doing, you could always ask your local supermarket if you could carry out your event at their store, that way you can collect sponsorship and donation from the general public as well as family and friends. |
