Our third charity shop opened it's doors to the public at 10am on Saturday 15th October 2011. We were delighted to see that the good people of Bridgnorth were as excited as we were as within minutes of opening the shop was full of bargain hunters. Within just twenty minutes of opening we had already rung in over £96.00 in the till and our volunteers were already hard at work restocking the shelves. As the day past the flow of customers didn't ease up and it felt like the whole of Bridgnorth had turned up to support us. By 5pm it was time to shut up shop, count the takings and give our wonderful volunteers a well deserved cup of tea and a chance to put their feet up. We were all staggered to realise that we had taken a whopping £1,082 throughout the day and it really did make all the hard work that had been put into getting the shop ready truly worth it. TOP DOG We decided to give the honour of cutting the ribbon to rehomed Happy Staffie Rescue dog Ky and his new owners Ant & Sue Pitt. The Pitts seemed happy to do the honours but Ky didn't seem to see what all the fuss was about.
